A Holiday Double Feature!

This holiday double feature of Rankin/Bass stop motion classics will be shown on Sunday, December 20 at 2:00 PM. Seating is general admission. Tickets will be on sale SOON!

The Year Without a Santa Claus (1974) follows a weary Santa Claus who decides to take Christmas off after concluding that no one really cares about the holiday anymore, leaving it to Mrs. Claus and two determined elves to change his mind. Their mission takes them to Southtown, USA, where they clash with the scene-stealing Heat Miser and Snow Miser — a pair of bickering elemental brothers whose catchy songs have made them the most memorable part of the special for generations.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964) is the longest-running holiday TV special in history, following a young reindeer who runs away from home after being mocked for his glowing nose, joining forces with an elf who’d rather make toys than pull teeth and a prospector searching for a peppermint mine. Together they discover the Island of Misfit Toys and ultimately find their way back to save Christmas when a blinding snowstorm threatens Santa’s annual flight.

Both features are family friendly and appropriate for all ages!
