Join us for another FREE movie series presented in partnership with the Mineral Point Public Library. Each movie shown is based on a book in celebration of the Opera House and Library partnership. Movies will be shown on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm, February 12, February 26, and March 12. Concessions will be available for purchase.

The Galentine’s & Valentine’s Edition movie is framed through an elderly man reading to a woman with dementia in a nursing home. It tells the story of two young people from different social classes who fall deeply in love one summer, but are separated by the girl’s disapproving parents. Years later, they reunite, forcing a choice between a comfortable future and a passionate first love.  Rated PG-13.
