The Mineral Point Tourism Commission, in partnership with the Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce, invites the community to a special premiere screening of a new Discover Wisconsin episode featuring Mineral Point, titled Mineral Point; Rooted in Land, Crafted by Hand.

Before the episode airs statewide, a free public showing will take place on Thursday, April 9 at 5:30 PM at the Mineral Point Opera House.

The episode will officially air on Saturday, April 18 at 5:30 PM on WKOW and will also be available on YouTube.

This episode has been in the works since 2024 and highlights the charm, history, and character that make Mineral Point a destination worth visiting.

“This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and see how Mineral Point will be showcased to viewers across the state and beyond,” said Cory Bennett, Executive Director of the Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited for the community to be the first to see it.”

The Tourism Commission and Chamber of Commerce encourage residents, business owners, and visitors to attend the screening and celebrate this exciting moment for Mineral Point.
