Two of Wisconsin’s most compelling live acts share the stage for a night that spans soul, funk, blues, and beyond.
Two local legends come together for one remarkable evening of live music on Saturday, March 20th, at 7:30 pm. Advance tickets are $20 for the lower level and balcony and $30 for the first two rows and boxes (plus taxes and fees). Prices increase by $5 on the day of the show. Doors open at 6:30. Tick Friends of the MPOH can purchase tickets on July 1 at 8:00 am; the general public can purchase tickets on July 15 at 8:00 am.
Lynda & the Zeroes is built on a rich foundation of soul, Motown, and funk, drawing comparisons to everyone from Stevie Wonder to Jon Batiste. The band is led by the dynamic Lynda Higgins, backed by a powerhouse four-piece horn section, a driving rhythm section, and stellar backup vocals. With main stage credits at the Memorial Union Terrace and Atwood Festival, and radio airplay on their single “Too Hot,” the Zeroes bring an undeniable groove that will have you dancing from the first note.
Shekinah King is a force all her own. The Madison-based singer, songwriter, and keyboardist has a voice often compared to Pink, Kelly Clarkson, and Adele. She has earned devoted audiences across Wisconsin and beyond with her powerhouse performances and deeply personal songwriting. A passionate advocate for mental health awareness through her work with Project Brave, Shekinah brings heart and purpose to the stage every time she performs.
