Experience the best of British theatre on our film screen! Each screening is a filmed live production with some of the best actors of today. These productions let you get closer, delve deeper and take in the spectacle in a way you’ve never experience before. On Thursday, February 11 at 7:00 pm is a screening of The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, directed by Max Webster. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students. Friends of the MPOH can purchase tickets on July 1 at 8:00 am; the general public can purchase tickets on July 15 at 8:00 am.

While assuming the role of a dutiful guardian in the country, Jack lets loose in town under a false identity. Meanwhile, his friend Algy adopts a similar facade. Hoping to impress two eligible ladies, the gentlemen find themselves caught in a web of lies they must carefully navigate.

Max Webster (Life of Pi) directs this hilarious story of identity, impersonation and romance, filmed live from the National Theatre in London.
